OUR WACOAL was launched by Wacoal as a fashion brand for enjoying individual styles. The brand's origins stem from Wacoal's founding spirit, when it began handling bra pads to help women dress beautifully in Western clothing amid the post-war shift from traditional Japanese attire. In today's era of diversified values, OUR WACOAL is born with the desire to offer women who seek their own sense of "beauty" and "suitability" the opportunity to enjoy expressing their unique styles.
This artwork was created for an exhibition held at Daikanyama T-SITE Tsutaya Books. In 2021, during the COVID-19 pandemic 2021, the piece was crafted by collaging photographs taken during past travels while reflecting on the anticipation of embarking on journeys again.
